Synopsis of the Film:


This movie revolves around an old aged man named “Alvin straight” who happens to be a war veteran. He is very stubborn about everything. He has a daughter and his wife died many years ago. One day he goes to the doctor to do a checkup and he finds that he has to be operated on very soon for the problem he has in his hip. But Alvin refuses to do it. One day he hears about his brother that his brother got a stroke. Alvin and his brother stopped talking to each other for the past years because of a fight. Alvin decides to go and see his brother but he knows that it won't be an easy journey. Because he doesn’t have a driving license and his daughter cannot drive a car. No direct busses to the place where his brother is living. More than anything Alvin is so stubborn that he has to travel on his own to meet his brother. He thinks that this is a way of apologizing to his brother. So he decides to travel with his lawn mower. (Lawn mower is a machine where you chop off unwanted grass in the lawn). He starts his journey with his old lawn mower but the journey doesn’t end well. The mower breaks down and he comes to his house. But without giving up he buys a second hand mower and starts his journey again to meet his brother. In his long journey he meets a lot of people to whom he shares his experience which he got all these years in his life. His mower’s belt gets broken and he stops in a place for a couple of days and stays in a stranger’s backyard.  There he meets a person who is his same age and he is a war veteran too. Both of them go to a restaurant and they both talk about their sour experience about their childhood. Alvin first time in his life he confesses that he has killed his own troop mate unintentionally and none of his troop mates knew it except him till this day. Both of them share things that they can’t share with their family or their close friends too. After the mower’s being repaired Alvin resumes his journey. After travelling for 260+ kilometres in a vehicle which moves 8 km/hr he goes to the place where his brother lives. Alvin enters the place where his brother lives. Alvin calls out his brother’s name but no reply comes from inside the house. Alvin calls again and this time his brother replies and comes out. Alvin’s brother realizes that his brother Alvin has come from a long way in his mower to meet him. He realizes his mistake that he has been doing for the past ten years.

Sherlock S2 E2

Sherlock  and John receive a visit from Henry Knight , who witnessed his father's death by a "gigantic hound" at Dartmoond 20 years ago. After years of therapy, Henry visited the site again, only to see the hound again, prompting his request for help.
