Detailed Summary Of The Movie:

This story is about three families which connect through a drastic accident. This movie starts with Paul Rivers dying in the hospital bed. He is a professor and a long time smoker. He is dying in the hospital because of the heart failure he had. Mary Rivers takes care of his husband Paul Rivers. Mary knows that Paul Rivers is going to die in a month if he doesn’t get a heart so she decides to give birth to a baby using Paul’s semen. Paul accepts it half heartedly. 


 Jack jordan is a guy who believes in god and he thinks that we all should just live for god. He is a Ex-con and he spends more time in jail than being out. Marianne Jordan is his wife and they have a son and a daughter. 


Christina is a simple housewife and a swimmer living happily with her husband Michael and her two daughters. 


One fine day Michael takes his daughters out to a shop and he takes them back to the house. His daughter sees a pigeon and gets excited and chases it. Micheal walks in the pavement by answering the voicemail to his wife Christiana. 


Jack Jordan happily talks to his friend and takes his truck and heads to his home for his party. While going home he takes a turn very fastly and hits a man and two daughters. It’s Michael and his daughters. Michael and one of his daughters dies immediately and one of the girls struggles for her life. Jack gets afraid and leaves from there. He goes to his house and tells his wife what just happened. He feels so guilty and he plans to surrender himself to the police. His wife tries to brainwash him but he goes and surrenders himself to the police. 


Later that day Christina gets a call from the police telling about the accident. She goes to the hospital just to find that his two daughters died and his husband's brain has stopped working. A woman from a donor organisation comes to Christina and asks her permission for Michael’s heart to be donated to another dying person. Christina agrees to it. 


Mary Rivers gets a call from the hospital saying Paul Rivers got a heart. Paul gets operated on and survives successfully. Paul starts living his second life very happily with his wife. Mary still needs a child and she knows Paul is not capable of that. So she wants to do an operation. But Paul refuses to do it after coming to know that she aborted their first child. 


Christina stops talking to everyone. She starts using drugs and pills just to come out of this but she couldn’t move on from this tragic incident that happened in her life. 


Jack serves months in jail. He starts to lose hope over god. He thinks that he spent his whole life serving god and god betrayed him. His wife tries to take him out of the jail but Jack doesn’t want to come out. His wife is so desperate and she sells their truck to hire a lawyer and takes Jack out of the jail. 


Paul somehow wants to meet the family of the person who donated the heart but the doctor refuses to tell him. He finds it by another person. He follows Cristiana to just say thank her for the heart but gradually falls in love with her. He follows and talks to her and impresses her somehow. They go out for lunch and have a good time together. That day Paul confesses to Cristiana that he likes her a lot and Cristiana lies to Paul that she is a married woman. Paul doesn’t say anything and leaves from there. That night Cristiana calls Paul to her house. Paul goes to her house. Cristiana starts kissing Paul and he stops her. Paul confesses that he has Michael’s heart. She gets very angry and tells Paul to go out of the house. Paul sleeps in the car outside Cristiana’s house. Cristiana realises her mistake the next day and apologises to Paul.  They both start loving each other and have intimate relationship. 


Jack comes out of the jail but still he couldn’t come out of the sin that he did. So he decides to leave his family and go far from his family. He buys a hamster for his son that he has been asking for a very long time and leaves the home and goes very far from there and stays in a motel and works there nearby. 


After some days Cristiana becomes very mad and she wants to kill Jack. She tells Paul that she wants to kill Jack. Paul doesn’t know what to do. Paul meets a person to know where Jack is and that person gives all the details and Jack buys a gun from him to kill. Paul becomes very ill again and he goes to hospital for checking.  Doctor tells him that if he isn't admitted to the hospital he will die a tragic death. Paul realises that even if he gets admitted to the hospital he will die. So he decides that he will die outside of the hospital. He plans to kill Jack and he travels to the place where Jack lives with Cristiana. One fine day he waits in his car to kill Jack. As per his plans to take Jack at gunpoint to a place and try to kill him. But instead of killing he shoots the ground and gives him a chance to live. He comes back and tells Cristiana that he has killed Jack and no one ever will find the body. They both try to sleep at night but Cristiana sees someone outside of her room. Paul takes the gun and opens the door. Jack comes in and tells Paul to shoot him out of guilt but Paul doesn’t shoot him. Jack and Paul struggle and Paul falls down with the gun. Cristiana starts hitting Jack and Jack doesn’t do anything as he just wants to die there. Paul knows he is on the verge of death. He takes the gun and shoots himself.  Cristiana and Jack take Paul to the hospital. Jack tells a cop that he shot Paul because he just wants to repay for the sin he did. The movie ends with Paul Rivers dying in the hospital bed.

Sherlock  and John receive a visit from Henry Knight , who witnessed his father's death by a "gigantic hound" at Dartmoond 20 years ago. After years of therapy, Henry visited the site again, only to see the hound again, prompting his request for help.
